When uploading to Resources, customers reported an issue that files with uppercase file extensions, such as branding_guide.DOCX, would appear as Other file type in the resources list.

Some customers reported issues with batch user upload feature, when using them to generate random passwords.
The team has resolved the issue, and addressed the root cause. Customers can create and update learners in their portal and assign learners random passwords through batch user upload.
Learner experience
Learners invited to register for sessions only when sessions are available 28 February 2025 Issue resolved
LearnUpon offers learners the option to register for sessions when they are available. If no sessions are available, learners are not prompted to try to register.
Automatically registered learners see their registration with no action required 28 February 2025 Enhancement
When learners are registered automatically to sessions, the course’s content details pages shows the learner as Registered, with no requirement to act on the registration, or option to cancel.
Courses in My Learning display sessions in the learner’s timezone 28 February 2025 Issue resolved
A customer reported a discrepancy between live learning session times shown in the course details, and on My Learning. The team has resolved the issue so session times appear in the learner’s selected timezone in both locations.
Google Meets integration access lasts longer between token refresh requests 28 February 2025 Issue resolved
During routine testing the team found that the integration required its API token refreshed frequently. The team has resolved this issue so that you don’t need to refresh the connection multiple times a day.
eCommerce
URL validation improved to allow for regional LinkedIn URLs 28 February 2025 Issue resolved
A customer reported that they couldn’t add a regional LinkedIn URL to their SEO settings for eCommerce. The team has changed the validation step so the customer can include LinkedIn correctly.
Twitter reference removed from the eCommerce interface 28 February 2025 Issue resolved
The team removed mention of connecting to Twitter from eCommerce setup page. The associated feature was turned off when Twitter, now called X, ended its free API for connecting to 3rd-party clients.
Portal management
Creating users in sub-portals works when you use email addresses as usernames 14 February 2025 Issue resolved
Thanks to a customer report, an admin can now create learners in a sub-portal, using email addresses as usernames, when they set the top-level portal to Allow user creation if user already exists.
LearnUpon Anywhere
Allow longer domain names for URLs associated with your learning portal 14 February 2025 Enhancement
LearnUpon Anywhere can support up to 10 URLs providing training for multiple portals. Portal names can be up to 100 characters long.
Enrollments
Improved search speed for user search: requires a minimum of 3 characters 14 February 2025 Enhancement
For enrolling learners or groups: to get the best search speed results, LearnUpon requires you to enter a minimum of 3 characters to return a result.
The following screenshot shows results after you enter 3 or more characters in the search interface.

Customers reported an issue with copying courses that contained live learning.
You can copy courses with live learning events, including their scheduled sessions, and the sessions appear correctly in each copy.

During routine development the team found errors while deleting courses with live learning registrations.
You can delete courses that contain live learning events and sessions, so long as you unenroll learners from the courses first.

You can’t create more than 1 license for a course. When you try to create a second license, the legacy license interface in LearnUpon provides a clear error message indicating a license already exists.
Preventing empty exam questions: better error messages 14 February 2025 Better messages
When you create a question pool for exams, you don’t want empty questions.
When you try to save an empty question, LearnUpon provides an error message to remind you to enter some question text.
Improved reliability of the certificate editor by revising the file size accepted: limit is 5 MB 14 February 2025 Enhancement
For creating certificates: with feedback from customers since releasing the latest certificate editor, LearnUpon has revised the image size limit to up to 5 MB.
Downloaded course settings display UTF-8 characters correctly 14 February 2025 Enhancement
The team has improved the CSV file download of courses and course metadata, so course names appear correctly in Excel when using UTF-8 characters. See: Courses: export course settings from a portal
Course owners get review notifications only when reviews are turned on 14 February 2025 Issue resolved
Customers reported occasional notifications about reviews, when course reviews were turned off. The team have reviewed the settings, and confirmed that course owners get notifications only when course reviews are turned on.
When editing course due dates and expiry dates, the current entry appears correctly 14 February 2025 Issue resolved
When you edit either a course due date or expiry date, you see the date you’re editing before you change it.
Integrations
Slack integration: learners can access courses directly from their notifications 14 February 2025 Issue resolved
A customer reported an issue with the links in their Slack notifications. Now updated, the links work so learners can access their courses straight from Slack.
HRIS integrations: start with country codes, and LearnUpon turns them into country names 14 February 2025 Enhancement
For HRIS integration customers using mapped custom user data fields: where the HRIS software may use a country code, LearnUpon will interpret as a country name and display the country name.
For example: If you use IE in HiBob, the country name Ireland will appear in fields.
Enroll Salesforce Contacts through Salesforce using the API 14 February 2025 Issue resolved
The team reviewed an issue with inconsistent enrollments through Salesforce. All Salesforce Contact enrollments are now synced to the LearnUponContactEnrollments object, resolving the inconsistency.
User management
Decimal custom user data fields retain changes 14 February 2025 Issue resolved
For custom user data fields that hold decimal numbers: when you update a field so the number no longer includes decimal digits, LearnUpon updates the field correctly.
Learner experience
Accessing assignment details is clearer 14 February 2025 Enhancement
The team have improved the display of the assignment module. When you’re on a given page, the associated button appears selected.
