Summary
Get to know Home for learners.
These interface changes are available to all customers on request.
Contact your Implementation Consultant or Customer Success Manager to turn on the feature.
Access permissions
- learners: view Home by default when the catalog is turned on
- all other user types: access Home from their Learner view
Home is available only from a learner's view. Select User Settings > Switch to learner to access Home.

A home for learners
As LearnUpon updates its interface to meet customer needs better, learners get a Home (previously Dashboard) to view all their learning content at a glance. The following GIF highlights the look and feel for learners.
Banners
Use banners to feature current messages to learners, calls to action and reminders. See Set up dashboard and catalog banners.
Learning in progress
This section displays up to 3 most recent courses or learning paths in progress, pointing to the current module. The Learning in progress > See all link directs the learner to My Learning.
Each course card summarizes a lot of information in a small space, including:
- course title
- course thumbnail image
- number of modules completed, and number of total modules
- a progress bar for a quick view of progress
- a label for Live sessions, aka ILT sessions
- date the course was last opened
Learning not started
The Learning not started section displays up to 3 courses where the learner is enrolled, but has not yet started. The View all link directs the learner to My Learning.
Each course card includes:
- course title
- course thumbnail image
- course description (first 110 characters)
- label to indicate Live session, aka ILT sessions
- for live sessions, a label about session status. For ex: Register for a session or Sessions not available
- course rating
- enrollment date
- if overdue: reminder of the due date
My live sessions
The calendar plus task list highlights fixed dates for sessions. Learners can:
- select a task to open it - for example, go straight to a session
- select a date to view tasks due that day

My achievements
For organizations that use gamification, learners can view their points, their progress towards their current level, and badges collected so far.
