Change your view to preview content or take courses and learning journeys
Admins, instructors and managers can switch to a learner view of the portal interface to take courses. The switch also helps preview a course or catalog setup from a learner’s perspective.
Contact your Implementation Consultant or Customer Success Manager to turn on the feature.
View and access LearnUpon as a learner
The following menu items are available only from a learner view:
- Home
- My Learning
- Catalog
- Store
- Forums
Learners see these menu items as part of their default layout, when they are turned on at the portal level.
Admins, managers and instructors must Switch to learner to access these items.
Switch to learner
From their initials or profile image, admins, managers and instructors can select Switch to learner to change their view of their dashboard and menus.
The following screenshot shows an admin's view of the Switch to learner option.
While using the learner view, the side navigation and the portal settings are hidden. The admin, instructor or manager can navigate the portal the same way a learner does.
From their initials or profile image they can switch back to their user type view.
