Add banners to learners' home pages and to the catalog
Choose from 3 types of banners for your portal's Home and for the internal catalog, to welcome your learners, promote courses, or add reminders.

Add multimedia or image banners to support your brand, share messages about coming courses, and provide call to action links.
Home is the default view for learners when they log in. You can set how often the banners change, from 5 to 30 second intervals.
The internal catalog is available from learners' main navigation. You can set how often the banners change, from 5 to 30 second intervals.

You can use up to 5 different images and messages in each area.
Access permissions

Prerequisites
You create the banners in the Banner library.

When you upload images you can crop and resize them to fit the dimensions provided, and add alt-text to ensure you meet accessibility standards. See Images: crop images and provide alt-text.
Choose banners from the banner library to display
- From main navigation go to Settings > Customization > Portal banners.
- From Learner home, select up to 5 banners from the drop down menus.
- For Interval between each slide (in seconds), enter a number from 5 to 30.
- From Catalog, repeat steps 2 and 3 to add banners to the Catalog.
- Save to finish.
