Let learners post their course completions and certificates
Admins enable this option on a portal. See: Social sharing: let learners share results on LinkedIn and X.
Learners can also download their certificates from My Learning to save for their records.
Availability: all customers
Social sharing applies to individual courses, but not currently to learning journeys.
When a learner completes a course, they get a prompt to share, as shown in the following screenshot.
Selecting Share opens a dialog to choose one of the social networks, as shown in the following screenshot.
This dialog opens a new browser page.
Selecting LinkedIn opens the LinkedIn Add license or certification dialog. LearnUpon enters the course name and associated details automatically.
The LinkedIn Credential ID in this dialog is LearnUpon's enrollment ID, that is unique for each learner's enrollment. See Find help: find and copy identifiers from your portal.
Tip: admins can add the organization's LinkedIn Organization ID, to display your organization name and logo automatically as Issuing organization. See Social sharing: let learners share results on LinkedIn and X.
The following screenshot shows LinkedIn's Add license or certification dialog with no course or certificate details.
X/Twitter
Selecting the X icon opens a dialog where the learner logs in to their account.
Within X, the learner selects Post: a dialog opens with LearnUpon’s default text entered, including any hashtags added by the admin. Learners can edit their post: the text is a suggestion only.
Download certificates for personal records
For courses that include certificates, the certificates are available for learners to download from the course content details page. See Learner view: content details and registering for sessions.
