Give learners control over their session choices
You can let learners choose and cancel their own Live Learning sessions.

When you create training in Live Learning, you can select:
- Give learners the option to self-register so your learners can choose their own sessions
- Give learners the option to cancel registration so learners can cancel sessions if required
As long as the sessions have capacity, the course's Content details shows how many sessions are available for registration.

Learners select sessions from the course
When a live learning event requires registration the learner sees an onscreen reminder about it on their Home page, and on each course card.
The following screenshot shows an example of a course with a reminder about registration.
When the learner selects a course, they see a reminder about registration on the Course details page. See the following screenshot for an example.
From the Live learning tab, the events list show their session details, or indicate that the learner is not yet registered for a session.
For a series of sessions, selecting Register adds the learner to all the sessions in the series.
The following screenshot shows the top half of a series of sessions.
To see only live learning sessions, the learner can select Live learning from the page's top navigation. The following screenshot shows Live learning with an example of event details, with the option to Cancel registration.
The course name link takes the learner to the course content details page.
Live learning includes multiple filters to find specific sessions by name, type, environment, date and enrollment status.
Learners cancel their own sessions
If the event owner selected Give learners the option to cancel registration when creating the event, learners can select a Cancel registration option for their sessions.
When registered for a session, Live Learning events show their session details and option to Cancel registration. Online events include the session link.
When a learner selects Cancel registration LearnUpon removes them from the session. Their name goes onto the Unregistered learners list in Live Learning.
Learners can select another session as required.
