Portal login: password field includes show and hide password icon by default Enhancement
Small changes can make a big difference for learners.
LearnUpon’s portal login pages now include a show and hide password icon.
By default, the password is hidden from view until you select the icon to display your password text.
This change helps every user who logs in daily, and sometimes struggles to enter a password correctly the first time.
The following screenshot shows the default login fields of a sample portal, with the show and hide password icon, and Forgot your password? available.
Global search: previous Advanced search is now default search Enhancement
The LearnUpon team have improved the search engine for the portal, so it works better for all users.
The most significant change is that the search engine now provides full-text search by default including:
- titles
- descriptions
- text within modules
This full-text search was previously the Advanced option.
The search engine for all users now have better labels and visual cues:
- the Enrolled courses filter label is clearer than Courses for people searching for content
- search results include a small version of the course thumbnail, and the description, when available
These small changes make searching for content more effective and easier to understand.

API: admins can create Live learning sessions with webinars Issue resolved
Customers reported that they could create live learning events and sessions for in-person sessions, but not for online sessions, through the API.
The team examined the issue and identified a missing parameter for the webinar connection. They’ve added the endpoint to provide the parameter, so admins can create sessions that use webinar integrations.

SCIM 2.0: assign learners to groups through your IdP data Enhancement
Customers who use identity providers such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and OneLogin can provision users automatically over SCIM 2.0.
You can also share group membership through the identity provider, so admins don't need to manage LearnUpon group membership manually.
LearnUpon treats the IdP as the source of truth, and applies changes to the learner's account automatically.

Course management
Courses: added filter of course created date, newest first and oldest first Enhancement
Based on customer feedback, the team added 2 filters to the sort order for courses:
- Created (Newest first)
- Created (Oldest first)
The default filter is now Created (Newest first).

Courses and eCommerce: link to bundles available from Courses page Issue resolved Enhancement
Organizations that sell courses can set up bundles to sell multiple courses as a single line item. This feature is distinct from either bulk purchases or subscriptions.
Bundles are available for both eCommerce powered by Spree and legacy eCommerce.
You need to turn on the bundle feature through Settings > eCommerce > General.
A customer reported they couldn’t access the bundles feature easily. The team reviewed the issue and moved the access to bundles to appear in the Courses page, rather than through another legacy feature.

Learner view
Learner Home: improved layout makes Home more intuitive and supports learners better Enhancement Better messaging
Based on customer feedback, LearnUpon has redesigned the learner Home page to incorporate features previously shown on My learning page, and withdrawn My Learning.
Learners benefit from a clean side navigation bar and a layout that offers the important information about their training in a single page.
Learning journey cards: better layout for improved learner Home Enhancement Better messaging
Based on customer feedback LearnUpon improved the layout and features of learning journey cards appearing on learners' Home pages.
The cards display journey information, learners' progress, and actions clearly, and they update as learners complete courses.
Learning journey cards appear side by side in a horizontal row, separate from the course cards on Home.
