Learner navigation: make the learner view simpler Enhancement
You asked, we listened. Organizations that need to customize their learners' navigation bar can now
- hide the link to Live learning
- hide the link to Catalog
- add 1 external link defined by the organization
For portals that use Live learning or Catalog, this navigation change does not turn off the features: they remain available. It aims to simplify the navigation for learners to meet the organizations' business needs.

Learner view
Course cards: easier to read and understand with improved accessibility Enhancement Better messaging
Based on customer feedback, LearnUpon refined the layout of course cards to keep them clean, simple and easy to understand in learners' Home page, Catalog, and public catalog.
Some significant changes:
- you now select the whole course card, rather than rollover buttons
- selecting Not started and Completed courses takes you to the content details page
- selecting In progress courses takes you to the course progression
- course descriptions appear only when the learner is not enrolled on the course
- course cards feature the course length, and dates relevant to the enrollment
- “pills” prioritize actions like coming Live learning sessions and messages about registrations
- details like certificates, difficulty level, ratings, release date and enrolled date no longer appear on the card
- cards look the same in desktop and in mobile view

Filters for page contents: display as many filters as the page width allows Enhancement
The pages you access from main navigation or from top navigation originally displayed a control bar with 3 filters by default, with an option to select More filters.
LearnUpon has expanded the control bar so it can display as many filters as the page layout allows. This filter display changes with your page width.
The following screenshot shows an example of the full-width display of filters in a learner's Catalog.
This layout change applies to:
- learners: see Live learning, Catalog, Resources pages
- admins, managers and instructors, depending on permissions: all the Live learning pages that list events, sessions and learners; Learning journeys page; Reports page, Portals page, Licenses page
SCORM content: SCORM packages work both in SCORM Cloud and in LearnUpon Issue resolved
A customer reported that their SCORM zipped files would not load in LearnUpon.
The team investigated and found that some SCORM packages were zipped with Windows paths in them. Windows paths use \ (forward slash) rather than / (backward slash). LearnUpon’s uploader could not render the course files correctly.
Unzipping and rezipping the files corrected the issue. The files uploaded and ran correctly.
