Learners can see membership and learning credits on the portal, and can add their external training records for learning credits.
Learners can see their membership type from their Profile, as a non-editable field. The screen shot that follows shows a sample Profile page.
Admins and managers can change a learner's membership type. See Associations and membership types: overview and setup.
The credits linked to a catalog course appear on the course's Details page. This screenshot shows the Details page for a completed course, where the learner was awarded 1.0 CPD credits.
Adding external training records
As admin you set up access to allow learners to record external training, to receive learning credits. See Associations: record and self-award credits for external training for how-to instructions.
- From the Dashboard go to Action menu > Add External Credits.
- From the External Credits page, enter
- Credit Type
- Number of Credits
- From the Activity details enter
- Name of the Activity
- Activity Description
- Enter if required:
- Date Completed
- Expiry Date
- Save to complete this entry.
The following screenshot shows a learner's view, of entering details for self-awarding credits.
If required, the learner can upload up to 5 supporting documents.
After approval, either automated or by admin review, the external training credits appear on the learner's dashboard.
