Provide resources to learners through Resources in primary navigation, or share a direct link, outside of LearnUpon.
Resources are available to all customers.
Note: Shareable URLs are not recommended for video streaming use.
Resources remain available after a course ends, as long as the files are in the portal.
For resources, LearnUpon generates unique static URLs that you can share outside a course. You can change the file within the resource, and the URL stays the same. These links are accessible outside of LearnUpon, without logging in to the portal.

Shareable resource URLs
Administrators can generate a direct download link to send resources to learners outside of a course. To create a shareable resource URL:
- From main navigation go to Library.
- From secondary navigation select Resources.
- Search for and select the name of resource to share.
- Select Shareable URL under the Resource file card.
- From the dialog that opens, copy the URL to share.
- OK to finish.
The following screenshot shows an example of the URL dialog.
The Resources tab
Learners access available resources through primary navigation > Resources.
The following screenshot shows sample resources for a learner.
Each item includes:
- file title
- update date
- file type
- file size
From this tab learners can search for resources, and they can filter by:
- file type
- category
- availability for download
Note: What happens when learners select Download depends on the file type, and on the learner's browser settings. For example, some browsers play video files in a new tab, while others download the file to the learner's computer.
