Banner types
LearnUpon offers 3 styles of banner:
- image - an image of your choice, with an optional link to other content
- multimedia - a mix of text and image or video with an optional call to action button
- centered content - a banner created in CKeditor, with centered formatting. This banner can vary in size depending on how much you add to it, so it could appear a different size onscreen from the other 2 styles
LearnUpon recommends you preview the banners to see how they’ll appear to learners.
When you upload images, LearnUpon automatically opens the image cropping tool to crop and resize your image to fit the dimensions required. You can add alt-text to ensure you meet accessibility standards.

Assemble your banner library
You store these banners in their own library, where you can see the banner type, status and where the banners are used at a glance. Use Search, filters and the sorting option to find the correct banners from a large selection.
Tip: give the banners meaningful names about content and their related links.
The following screenshot shows the Banner library in a sample portal, with a list of banners. They are currently sorted by Last Modified Desc, aka the most recently modified banners appear at the top.
