Create learning journeys to sell online
Use the learning journeys feature to assemble courses in sequence, to sell as a single item in your online store.

Use learning journeys to structure your sellable courses
The learning journeys feature lets you group a series of courses to run in sequence, one after another. When published, you can market the learning journey as a single sellable item through your eCommerce platform.
Note: LearnUpon eCommerce cannot sell learning journeys with branches.
Prerequisites
This option is available for the eCommerce platform powered by Spree only. It’s not available for the legacy eCommerce store.
To sell learning journeys you need to:
- set up your eCommerce platform and turn it on
- create and publish learning journeys, marked as Sellable
- price the learning journeys in your store and set them as Active

Access permissions
eCommerce platform access
- admins with full portal permissions: can set up and add products to your Spree eCommerce platform
Ask your Customer Success Manager to add the new eCommerce features to your portal. You set up each portal in your realm separately.
Learning journey access
- All admins: can create and publish learning journeys, and enroll and unenroll learners
Make a learning journey sellable
You set learning journeys as sellable at the learning journey level, rather than the course level.
When you set a learning journey as sellable, the courses become sellable only as part of the learning journey. The courses' individual Sellable setting does not change.
The buyer can't select an individual course from the learning journey to buy: the learning journey comes as a package. The courses' individual Sellable setting does not change.
When the learning journey is marked Sellable and published, it appears in the eCommerce platform Products page within a few moments in Draft status.

View and price the learning journey in the eCommerce platform
- From main navigation select Go to eCommerce.
- Select Products to view the learning journeys in your list of sellable items.
- Optional: use Filters to identify the learning journeys in Draft status, or by Created at date.
- Select each learning journey to review:
- Name, Description, Media
- prices in selected currencies
- membership pricing
- Optional: set Available On and Discontinue On as required.
- When the learning journey is ready for sale, set status to Active.
- Select Update to finish.
Confirm the learning journey is in your store
- Open a test learner account in a new browser window.
- From the learner main navigation go to the store, and view the products.
- Make sure all the details appear as expected.
