Access training content through subscription payments
Subscriptions let you access courses, bundles, and learning journeys, with recurring billing instead of buying each item one at a time.

Subscriptions: overview for buyers
Subcriptions let buyers distribute the cost of training across the calendar year, and ensure training content remains available when required.
Subscriptions can optionally offer free trial periods.
To access a trial, buyers complete a purchasing workflow with their payment details. LearnUpon does not charge their payment method until the trial period is finished.
Buyers can cancel without cost during this period.
When buyers subscribe to a plan, they get 1-click access to all their plan content. Their access remains current and includes updates to the content immediately
When buyers cancel their subscription the cancellation takes effect at the end of their current billing period. Their learners lose access to their learning content, though can still log in to the portal.
Alternately, buyers can contact their portal admin to cancel their subscription immediately.
LearnUpon retains learner enrollments and any In Progress training, so buyers and their learners can pick up their training again when they re-subscribe.
Buy a subscription
Buyers can check out from a Subscription Plans section or the Subscriptions page of the storefront.
If buyers aren’t already logged in to their portals, the storefront redirects them to log in, then continues the checkout process.
- From the subscription plan select Subscribe or Start trial.
- From the checkout page, enter and save a billing address.
- LearnUpon calculates and displays tax, or shows the plan as tax-exempt if applicable.
- The buyer pays using a saved payment method or a new card, processed through Stripe.
- On success, the buyer sees a checkout confirmation and can select Browse courses immediately.

- From the page of courses that opens, the buyer can select a course to view its details.
- From the course page, they can select Enroll now to start the course, as shown in the following screenshot.
The enrollment generates a confirmation message with options to keep browsing, or go to My learning. See the following screenshot.
Manage a subscription
- From the storefront, select My account > Subscriptions.
- From the list of subscriptions, select your subscription > View invoices.
- Select Manage subscriptions.
- From the dialog that opens select one of:
- Cancel subscription > select Yes, cancel subscription
- Update payment method > select Use a new card > enter a new card details > Save payment method.
The storefront displays a confirmation for your subscription actions.
