A clear intuitive overview of learner progress
The manager dashboard gives you quick access to the numbers that matter most about learner enrollments.

Manager dashboard: overview
Cards, charts and graphs show users with manager permissions the current progress of learners, with options to filter by course, group or user status (enabled or disabled).
The following screenshot shows the top half of the manager dashboard.

Each card includes the number of learners in that course status, and an option to view the relevant list of learners.
Filter to check by courses, groups, or user status
Break down the numbers to view progress statuses by courses, by groups, or by user status. The following screenshot shows the top half of a dashboard, with the User status of Login enabled highlighted.

See a high-level summary of the most important course statuses - Not Started, In Progress, and Completed/Passed - as a circular chart.
Refresh data
By default LearnUpon updates your status data at least every 4 hours.
Refresh data lets you access current data manually.
Note: The most recent changes to learners' status may not appear immediately.
Send reminder messages to learners by course status
Note: contact your Customer Success Manager to turn on the reminder option.
From the dashboard cards, select a group of learners to send a quick reminder message through the portal.
The following screenshot shows a group of learners with Past due enrollments, and the option to Send message.
LearnUpon provides a short editable message that you can tailor as required.

Access permissions
- admins with full portal permissions: can turn on the manager dashboard. An admin must turn on the manager dashboard for each top-level and sub-portal, as required
- managers and managers with instructor permissions: can access the dashboard, in top-level and sub-portals
Manager dashboard is currently available to manager user types only.
Turn on the manager dashboard
- From main navigation go to Settings > My Portal > Home and Dashboard.
- From Manager Dashboard, select Show manager dashboard to manager users.
- Save to finish.

Access the manager dashboard
When available, manager dashboard appears by default to managers when they select Dashboard from the main navigation.
Filter for a course, group or user status
- Select Filters.
- Select one of Courses, Groups, or User status to view a smaller set of learners, and select Apply.
- Select Clear > Apply to remove the filters.
View learners with a specific course status
- From any of the status cards, select View list to see learner names and courses.
- To filter the list further:
- select one of: Courses, Groups, or User Status
- from the dropdown select your course, your group, or the appropriate status > Apply
- select Clear > Apply to remove the filter
- Apply another filter as required.
The following screenshot shows a sample of the In Progress list, filtered by Login enabled.
View course completions
By default the graph shows course completions from the last 7 days.
Select the date range to change the display and show alternative dates, up to the last 365 days. The following screenshot shows Course completions for Last 90 Days.
Send a reminder to learners through the dashboard
Note: contact your Customer Success Manager to turn on the reminder option.
- From main navigation select Manager Dashboard.
- Optional: select Filters and Apply as required.
- From the progress data, select View list to see the learners in that status:
- for the given status, select all in the list, or select individuals you need to contact
- select Send message
- from the dialog that opens, review the suggested reminder text, and edit as required
- Send to finish the message
- Select Dashboard to return to the Manager Dashboard.
