Summary
Add calls or snippets in Gong Embedded Player to your content modules. Gong transcribes calls using speech-to-text technology.
This feature is available to all customers.
Prerequisites for using Gong and LearnUpon together
To add Gong content, you need to ensure your learners have access to all calls.
Embed a Gong call into a LearnUpon module
LearnUpon supports iFrame-based media like the Gong Embedded Player.
Start with both applications open in your browser.
- In LearnUpon:
- From main navigation go to Courses > my course
- Select Content > Add Module > Add Text & Images to open CK editor
- Select Source to access the interface for entering HTML code
- In Gong:
- Find the call you need to embed. From the toolbar, select Share Call > Embed call
- In theEmbed calldialog, copy either the iFrame code, or the call URL
The following screenshot shows the Embed call dialog in Gong.
- In LearnUpon, paste the code into the text editor.
Optional: add a <div class="video-responsive"> wrapper, so the player changes size based on the screen available. - Select Source again to return to the regular CK editor.
- Save to finish.
The following screenshot shows the CK editor with Source selected, with an example Gong URL.
When you're finished the module, select Preview to confirm the embedded player runs smoothly.
Embed a Gong snippet into a module
To embed only a portion of a call into a module, called a snippet, start with both applications open in your browser.
- In LearnUpon:
- From main navigation go to Courses > my course
- Select Content > Add Module > Add Text & Images to open CK editor
- Select Sourceto access the interface for entering HTML code
- In Gong:
- Find the call you need to embed
- SelectShare Call > Embed call
- In the Embed call dialog select Share a snippet to access the call timer, and the audio slider.
- Choose the part of the call you want to embed.
- Copy the iFrame code, or URL.
- In LearnUpon, paste the code into the text editor.
Optional: add a <div class="video-responsive"> wrapper, so the player changes size based on the screen available. - Select Source again to return to the regular CK editor.
- Save to finish.
Tip: to find the right section of the call quickly, refer to the call Transcript, and use the search tool to find the words from the call.
