Send your Easygenerator courses to LearnUpon
Set up the integration to move your Easygenerator content to LearnUpon. Publish courses, enroll learners and track progress from the LearnUpon portal.

Setup steps overview
Easygenerator uses PENS (Package Exchange Notification Service) as part of its API. The one-time setup in LearnUpon requires generating API tokens to use with Easygenerator. Typically you set up the integration once only.
LearnUpon sends these tokens automatically to Easygenerator with the admin sender details. The Easygenerator team responds within a day, Monday to Friday, to the email address of the admin who set up the integration.
LearnUpon displays a confirmation message like the following screenshot.
Warning: Repeat this process only if absolutely required. Generating new tokens invalidates any existing ones, and breaks any existing Easygenerator integration.
Import settings for Easygenerator courses
These settings define how the integration handles courses imported from Easygenerator. By default they are turned off.
- Clear suspend data: when turned on, each module starts at the beginning. This option applies if your authors update and resend modules currently in use. When turned on, learners need to start modules over. Leave it at (default) off so learners can retain their progress through modules
- Create draft course: when turned on, the integration creates a new draft course for each imported module, as well as delivering modules to the Library, for re-use in other courses
Access permissions
- Admins with full portal permissions: can set up Easygenerator integration
The LearnUpon admin who sets up the integration requires a Easygenerator administrator account. During first-time setup, the admin confirms agreement with the governing policies.
Add Easygenerator integration to your portal: one-time setup
- From main navigation go to Settings > Integrations > Content Integration.
- Select Easygenerator.
- From Easygenerator content, select Connect.
- In Connect to Easygenerator dialog, select Accept and connect.
- In API tokens dialog, select OK to finish.
The Easygenerator team contacts you to follow up and finish the setup.
Change import settings for Easygenerator courses
- From main navigation go to Settings > Integrations > Content Integration.
- Select Easygenerator.
- From Easygenerator content, select Import settings.
- Select the options to turn the settings on or off:
- Clear suspend data
- Create draft course
- Save changes to finish.
Send courses from Easygenerator to LearnUpon
When fully connected you can access your Easygenerator content from Courses to import them to LearnUpon.
- In Easygenerator:
- access your course content and review
- from the course interface select Publish > Integration > LearnUpon
- In LearnUpon, check that the content has transferred correctly in 1 of 2 locations:
- the portal Library, as SCORM or xAPI modules: use in as many courses as required
- optional: in Courses, in Draft status
