Summary
A Zap is an automated workflow that connects your apps like Slack, Google, or Salesforce, and services like LearnUpon together.
Availability: depends on your LearnUpon plan
Note: Your organization needs to set up an account with Zapier, to access their services.
Every Zap consists of a trigger step (“when this happens…”) and one or more action steps (“then do this…”). When you turn your Zap on, it runs the action steps every time the trigger event occurs.
Examples from the Zapier website:
- Create LearnUpon portal invites for new Marketo leads
- Create or update Gainsight custom objects for completed LearnUpon enrollments
- Send Slack notifications when new enrollments completed in LearnUpon
- Send SurveyMonkey surveys for new LearnUpon enrollment completions
- completing a LearnUpon course (trigger) and creating a signature request for Docusign (action)
- Generate Accredible certificates for new LearnUpon enrollment completions
- Issue badges in Credly for new LearnUpon enrollment completions
Access permissions
- Admins with full portal permissions: can set up API keys to use with Zapier
