Create new contacts for HubSpot from your portal
Use LearnUpon to create HubSpot Contacts so you can triage and track users through HubSpot.

Customers who have integrated HubSpot with LearnUpon can add HubSpot Contacts, based on LearnUpon data.
Admins can add Contacts manually, or set up the integration to add new Contact records automatically.
If the Contact already exists in HubSpot with the same names and email address, LearnUpon doesn't create a new account. It performs a "link and sync" immediately connecting the LearnUpon account to the HubSpot Contact.
Prerequisites
- a HubSpot account
- a working integration with HubSpot in your portal
Setting up the integration includes accepting HubSpot’s terms and conditions.
Access permissions
- all admins: can use this integration on a portal or sub-portal
Create a HubSpot Contact manually from LearnUpon
You can create Contacts from LearnUpon with:
- first name
- last name
- email address
This feature does not include mapping LearnUpon custom user data to HubSpot.
- From main navigation go to Users.
- From Actions select Create contact in HubSpot. The following screenshot shows the menu selection.
- In the confirmation dialog that opens select OK.
- LearnUpon displays a pop-up message about creating the Contact.
View the Contact in HubSpot
- From your HubSpot profile view Contacts.
- Search for the Contact by name or by email.
Create HubSpot Contacts automatically from LearnUpon data
Contacts created using this option contain email address only. Self-registration doesn't require a first name or last name value.
- From main navigation go to Settings > Integrations > CRM integrations > HubSpot.
- Select Additional settings.
- From Create new contact records in HubSpot automatically, select one of:
- Always
- Only when a user self-registers
- Save changes to finish.
