Since 2023, we’ve rolled out several updates to the Learner View in LearnUpon, all aimed at delivering a simpler, more accessible, and more engaging learning experience. This journey is now reaching its next milestone as we complete the transition from the legacy learner user interface (UI).
Importantly, the new UI is where all of LearnUpon’s latest innovations and upcoming features will be available. This transition ensures your organization stays current and ready to take advantage of future enhancements. As we continue investing in these capabilities, the legacy UI will no longer receive updates or new features.
Note: From December 12th 2025, any new sub-portal you create will automatically include the redesigned learner experience.
What’s happening:
To deliver the best possible experience, we’ll be moving customers to the redesigned learner experience in stages over the coming months. You’ll receive a direct notification from our team when your portal is scheduled to move, along with everything you need to prepare and access support.

Why do I see some portals with the redesigned experience and others with the legacy experience?
Some (but not all) customers may currently have a mix of both experiences with certain portals already using the new UI, and others still on the legacy version. The redesigned experience builds on the same functionality you’re used to, just with a refreshed, more intuitive design.
LearnUpon’s goal is to have all customers using the redesigned experience so everyone benefits from a faster, more consistent, and engaging learner experience — plus access to the latest features and improvements as they’re released.
What happens if I don’t move before the transition date?
As we are moving customers in stages some of your portals will switch from January 30th 2026.

New Content Details page
The Content Details page brings key course information together in one place. Learners can review course content, jump straight to modules, see their completion details, message instructors, download and share certificates, and celebrate their achievements on LinkedIn.

New Dashboard: Home
The Home page is designed to help your learners find the most important content with ease, and motivate learners with clear progress and achievements.
Home is one of two pages that will replace the current learner Dashboard.

The My Learning page is where learners can see all their current enrollments - so when they want to spend time learning about a specific topic for example, that’s simple to find from the dedicated ‘My Learning’ page.

The new Catalog page will replace the current learner catalog, and is designed to make self-service learning (even more) easy, engaging, and enjoyable.
