Assign Create+ to your sub-portal content creators as required
A main portal with sub-portals connected to it are called a realm. The main portal is the top-level portal.
When you add Create+ to your realm you receive a number of licensed seats in your top-level portal.
From the top-level portal, you assign a number of seats to the sub-portals, up to the number of seats available in your realm. If you try to assign too many seats, you get an error message.
Assign seats, then set permissions for Create+
You assign the number of seats available to your sub-portal, then you set permissions to access Create+ to your content creators through their User profiles.
Noone is assigned a Create+ seat by default.
You can move seats to a sub-portal before changing anyone’s permissions within the sub-portal. The seats are available when you’re ready to assign them to people.
You can unassign and re-assign seats as required through the User profile to share a seat across a portal, or move the seat from one portal to another.
When all your seats are assigned and you need to assign a seat to a new user, you need to re-assign at least 1 seat. This change means 1 person loses access to Create+ to give your new user access.
Changing Create+ seats does not affect a creator’s content. The content they create remains available through the application, and available to use in courses.
Within a portal, any seat holder can edit the Create+ content available: they have access to all the modules associated with the Create+ feature.
To prevent changing your published courses, you can download the original course as a SCORM 1.2 static package, and upload it to LearnUpon. This step disconnects the SCORM from the course package in Create+.
