As part of LearnUpon’s ongoing initiative to improve our reporting suite, we’re saying goodbye to some legacy reports—and introducing more powerful, flexible solutions in their place.
In 2023, we introduced advanced reports, including the Progress Report, designed to give you greater flexibility, precision, and control over your reporting.
Continuing this evolution, LearnUpon will soon simplify reporting by consolidating three legacy reports: Course Status, Course History, and Certifications & Credits, into the Progress Report. You’ll still have access to the same reporting data for these use cases, now supported by advanced capabilities such as more powerful filtering, customizable fields, and smarter scheduling.
What does this change mean?
After January 30, 2026, the following basic reports will no longer be available and will be removed from your LearnUpon portals:
- Course Status
- Course History
- Certifications and Credits
You already have access to the Progress Report, which supports and combines these reporting use cases and offers a much-improved experience.
If your organization currently relies on these reports, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the Progress Report and begin using it for your reporting needs. Please also update any scheduled reports and help other users—such as Managers—prepare for a smooth transition.
Please note: As we focus all our efforts on enhancing advanced reports, LearnUpon will no longer be addressing bugs or issues related to these legacy reports. Advanced reports is where you can expect continued updates and new reporting capabilities in the future.
Why is LearnUpon making this change?
The Progress Report offers the functionality of these legacy reports — and much more. It is designed to give you greater flexibility, precision, and usability.
Some of the improvements you’ll notice right away are:
- Powerful filtering: Easily filter by date, course, user status, enrollment status, custom user data, and more.
- Customizable fields: Choose which data points to include, and arrange them in the order you need before running your report.
- Smarter scheduling: Schedule reports with more control, including precise delivery times with full timezone support.
- Improved user interface: A modern and intuitive experience that makes reporting smooth and seamless, with additional UI enhancements planned for the near future.
