Summary
Connect HubSpot to your LearnUpon portal. Use HubSpot tools to invite contacts to your portal, and track their progress in courses.
This integration is available to all customers who use HubSpot as a customer relationship management (CRM) system.
See HubSpot integration overview and features for background about how the integration works with LearnUpon.
Note: Currently, the integration supplies data only on learners that you create through the User Invite Action. The integration does not update the enrollments of any existing learners in HubSpot.

To set up this integration LearnUpon customers need a HubSpot account that includes access to custom objects. Setting up the integration includes accepting HubSpot’s terms and conditions. See HubSpot’s pricing website.

Workflow action: incorporate the LearnUpon Invite User into a workflow
See HubSpot: create workflows documentation for complete instructions.
To create a workflow, your HubSpot account needs access to read and edit workflows.
In HubSpot, when you create a workflow, select the LearnUpon Invite User action to invite a contact to your portal.
For this action, the user automatically receives an email, inviting them to join your LearnUpon portal. It will go to their primary email address, as listed in HubSpot, and include their first and last name.
This action doesn’t need any configuration.
The following screenshot shows the LearnUpon Invite User action in the HubSpot action menu.
You must complete the workflow, then Review and Publish to apply the workflow to your contacts in HubSpot.
The following screenshot shows a short sample workflow based on the email domain of the HubSpot contact.
View learner progress in courses in HubSpot Contacts
When a HubSpot contact is enrolled on courses in LearnUpon, LearnUpon sends data about the course progress. The course progress appears under Course Enrollments, on the contact’s page.
Note: Currently, the integration supplies data only on learners that you create through the User Invite Action. The integration does not update the enrollments of any existing learners in HubSpot.
The following screenshot shows a sample HubSpot contact, with the CRM card area highlighted.
Note: To create new enrollments for learners, you need to enroll learners in LearnUpon, using portal tools like groups, dynamic rules, and manual enrollments. If you create enrollments from HubSpot, they will not synchronize and appear to learners, in the LearnUpon portal.
To prevent manual enrollments from HubSpot, admins can configure the permissions for editing and deleting Custom Objects. In HubSpot, see Users & Teams > Permission Sets.
See HubSpot's own documentation: Edit user permissions.
