What's new
LearnUpon’s learner app for Android
We’ve expanded our mobile learning offering with an exciting addition. With LearnUpon’s new learner app for Android (we also have an iOS app), your learners with Android devices can access their training content on-the-go through a mobile app.
Nine new platform languages
LearnUpon now supports 23 out-of-the-box platform languages. We’ve added nine (yes NINE!) more languages to support your users all across Europe: Czech, Danish, Flemish, Hungarian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Slovak, Swedish, and Turkish.
Enhancements
Core
- Accessibility for all LearnUpon users: To ensure LearnUpon is built for users - learners, admins, managers, and instructors - of all abilities, our platform now meets the Level AA requirements in WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2.0 for all users.
- New ‘User Creation Date’ filter type for Dynamic Rules: With a new ‘User Creation Date’ filter type you can set up rules to process users into groups based on when they were added to the portal, for example based on employment date.
- New switch to limit Admin access portal settings: Top-level admins can now choose to change the default setting for their admins to access portal settings, like privacy and security settings, with a new ‘Can access portal settings’ switch.
- Enable managers to enroll learners into licensed courses: With a new addition to the “Licenses” page in “License Options” you can allow managers with Manager User Type permissions on the sub-portal to enroll learners into that licensed course.
- Belgium added to sales tax list for eCommerce: We’ve added Belgium to the list of countries that you can configure the sales tax feature within your store front. This allows you to automatically apply the corresponding, compliant rate of tax when selling your courses and learning paths to people and companies in this country.
Integrations
- Course reversioning for Required Learning in Degreed: An update to how our reversioning works, when a course is reversioned in LearnUpon and updated in Degreed, learners now have the ability to see their enrollment, regardless of what version of the course they are on.
- Resource linking via the API: Removing the need to manually create the same resources across multiple portals, now you can leverage LearnUpon’s API to get a full list of resources available within a portal, link top-level portal resources down to the sub-portal of your choosing, and remove linked resources.
- Webhook to confirm course clone completion: When a course has been successfully cloned, a webhook is sent out noting this so that you can store the new course information and be confident that the cloning completed successfully.
- Course update webhook enhancements: When Course Custom Data or an ILT session start/end time or max capacity is changed, this webhook will send the updated data to your external systems.
