What's new

MS Teams Integration

Available through LearnUpon’s webinar tool offering, we’ve added a best-in-class, out-of-the-box Microsoft Teams’ integration. It enables you and your team to do it all — schedule, register, communicate, host, and report on MS Teams’ live meetings, right in our LMS. Explore MS Teams + LearnUpon.

And, to give Instructors hosting MS Teams sessions greater flexibility, Instructor User Types (and Managers with Instructor permissions) can now connect to their Microsoft Teams personal accounts within LearnUpon from a new Integrations page in their Profile view.

Dynamic Rules

Dynamic Rules helps you manage your users, tailor your learning, and takes care of things in the background. You can simply create Rules based on your chosen criteria, and LearnUpon automatically targets user segments with tailored learning based on what’s in their profile.

Just a one-time setup, Dynamic Rules does the heavy lifting from there – capturing any changes in the background, and in real-time too! 

Course Recommender

Want your users to access the most relevant Catalog content - fast? Now they can.

Releasing in the coming weeks*, Course Recommender is a new Catalog feature that creates more personalized self-service experiences.

Powered by automated, machine-learning recommendations, it helps Learners discover and engage with the content they want—before they know they want it—using automated course recommendations powered by machine learning.

*This feature will be visible to Learners in the Catalog as standard for customers on Essential, Premium and Enterprise plans — no action required by you. Please contact your Onboarding Specialist or Customer Success Manager if you would like to opt-out of Course Recommender for one or more of your Portals or discuss options for accessing this new feature.

Enhancements

• Traditional Chinese and Canadian French language options: Have more flexibility to deliver training to global audiences with the release of two new app translation language options - Traditional Chinese and Canadian French. If you would like to enable one or both of these languages in your portals, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
• More sorting options for Instructor-led Training attendees: See who’s on your ILT roster with ease. Now you can sort attendees alphabetically by Name (from A-Z or Z-A). And for waitlists, learners are listed in order of position (first to last) by default so you can see who’s getting the next available seat.
• Extend manager permissions via the API: Give manager user types greater control over live sessions with the addition of the can_act_as_instructor parameter to the Optional parameters for creating a user endpoint.
• Retrieve course author information via the API: Get deeper course insights with new parameters to the Courses object attributes returned endpoint to include details of the course owner (first and last name, email, and unique id).
• Automate Learning Path updates with our new Webhook: Log important Learning Path changes in your connected apps with our new Learning Path update Webhook.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

An extra layer of portal security to keep your data in the right hands. With 2FA, your users can protect their LearnUpon accounts with both a password and a code from an authenticator app on their mobile device - stopping the wrong person from gaining access to an account.

App Translation

Speak your users’ languages and deliver training to a global audience with LearnUpon App Translation.

Translate the LearnUpon platform with just a few clicks by setting a default language for each Portal, with the option to allow users to choose their preferred language within their Portal. Once set, the UI language is automatically translated.

We release new languages regularly based on customer feedback. 14 languages are available out-of-the-box including English, Spanish and German.
