LearnUpon values your feedback and is dedicated to continuously implementing new features to further improve the LMS. Our product roadmap is shaped by you - our customers. We focus on building the features and products you need to succeed.
Topics covered in this article:
Enhancements
- Control the ability to download video: Course creators can enable or disable the video download option when creating a Course.
- Improved Portal and Store sign-up experience: To streamline the process for self-registration, we have improved the sign-up UI to prevent users from entering the wrong email address on registration.
Coming soon: Dynamic Rules
Dynamic Rules is a new feature that automatically assigns Users to Groups in real-time, based on their Custom User Data, for example, Job Title or Location. With this powerful new feature, you can create highly specific User Groups that stay in sync; automatically targeting your Users with the most relevant content. We’ll keep you informed as this feature is ready to roll out.
As part of the Dynamic Rules feature, some customers will be using Custom User Data fields for the first time. Custom User Data fields let you record additional user information of your choosing in Users' profiles. Data fields can support your reporting, or be used with Dynamic Rules to add Users to Groups.
Once enabled, you will also see the Custom Course Data option. These fields let you record additional information about Courses. Use Custom Data to record course type, skill level, or topic. This data appears when you export the Course Status report.
More upcoming enhancements
- Real-time Course Enrollment sync between LearnUpon and Degreed: Enrollments to Courses in LearnUpon will sync to the Degreed platform in real-time, instead of daily.
- Ensure temporarily disabled accounts do not miss any Courses: When re-enabled, Users who have been temporarily disabled will be automatically enrolled on any Courses assigned to their Group.
- Accessibility in the Learner View: We are working towards WCAG 2.0 level A and AA in the Learner View. 508 Compliance will also be covered under WCAG Level AA.
