Summary
Create your own certificates to assign to learning paths. Learners can download their certificates from their dashboards.
Learning paths and certificates are available to all customers.
LearnUpon recommends a high-resolution image sized for regular printer paper, 3462 x 2401px @ 300dpi resolution, for certificate images. You can upload any image file format (JPEG, PNG etc.) of 5Mb or less: PNG image files print the best results.
Create a certificate
- From main navigation go to Certificates: from the action menu, select Add New Certificate.
- For Title, enter a name for the certificate.
- Select Upload File > your certificate image > Open.
- Save to confirm upload.
- Drag and drop variables from the list, like Firstname Lastname, Course Title, Completion Date and Score Achieved, to appear on the certificate.
Note: Adjust the font size of the variable in the drop down list if needed. The certificate editor saves changes automatically.
- After you have all the variables in place select Preview to see the resulting certificate. LearnUpon assembles the certificate as a PDF, and provides a link to download it from the user's dashboard.
Assign a certificate to a learning path
- From main navigation, go to Courses and from secondary navigation select Learning Paths > your learning path.
- Select Certs & Credits.
- In Certificate type in the first few letters of the name of the certificate and select it from the list.
- For certificate options:
- If certificate expires, enter a number for day(s) after being awarded.
- Toggle Auto re-enroll learner? if required, and enter a number for day(s) before certificate expires?
- If appropriate, select Award any course-level certificates as learners complete courses on their path?
- Save to finish.
