We’ve leveled up the LearnUpon mobile app on iOS and Android to put the power of LearnUpon in the hands of all your users, making it easier than ever for your learners to stay connected and for your teams to manage learning on the go.
- For Learners: Empower (even more) learning on-the-go, with access to more of LearnUpon’s learner features now available.
- For Admins, Managers, and Instructors: Now you can create, deliver, assign, and track learning on the go, with access to all of LearnUpon’s admin features.
Enhancements
- Bulk upload for SCORM and Tin Can files: Save time and simplify content management by uploading multiple SCORM and Tin Can (xAPI) courses all at once. Course owners can now upload up to 100 SCORM or Tin Can (xAPI) files simultaneously (up to a combined total of 2.5 GB) directly through the Library.
- Edit custom user data string choice fields: Keep user profiles up to date; when you update a value in string choice custom user data fields, the change applies automatically to all related user profiles, simplifying profile management at scale.
- Sharing links for the new learner Catalog: Enhance collaboration by sharing filtered views for the new Catalog page, including searches, filter selections, and sorting options, so others can access exactly what they need.
- Access archived courses from My Learning: Now, learners can find and access archived courses from the new My Learning page, so they can easily revisit completed topics alongside current enrollments, all in one place.
- Streamlined setup for Easygenerator users: Setting up your Easygenerator integration to move content to LearnUpon is now simpler than ever with API details automatically sent to Easygenerator for seamless configuration. Plus, Tin Can (xAPI) is now enabled by default for new setups, so you’re ready to go right out of the box. (Note: If you are already using the Easygenerator integration, you can change the default for Tin Can (xAPI) by contacting the Easygenerator support team).
- Connect to multiple portals for HubSpot users: Scale your HubSpot integration with the ability to connect multiple LearnUpon portals to a single HubSpot instance. Bring together even greater flexibility and efficiency to your workflows, whether managing learning for multiple audiences, regions, or departments.
- Simplified event and session creation for Live Learning users: Create and manage learning events more efficiently with a refined event and session creation experience. A new secondary navigation makes it easier to access different sections of the event form, while collapsible sections in the session creation interface keep everything organized.
- Streamlined account management with more OAuth authentication options: Set up an identity provider like Microsoft Entra ID (previously Azure AD) using OAuth 2.0 (bearer/token) authentication to simplify account creation and management.
Important Updates
- Since August 15, 2024, you’ll have seen some changes to labels, headers, and navigation items in UK and US English; to create a more consistent, inclusive, and user-friendly experience, we’re starting to update UI text across the platform to sentence case.
- Since August 12, 2024, you’ll have seen some changes on the platform: ILT Center is now Live Learning, and Training has been renamed to Event. To support these updates, we've introduced new API endpoints and webhooks to facilitate a seamless transition ahead of deprecating the existing methods after December 31, 2024.
- With the upcoming end of support for Salesforce Process Builder effective December 31, 2024, we recommend that you migrate your setup to Salesforce Flow to continue to automate processes.
- Effective January 7, 2025, LearnUpon is deprecating weak cipher suites across public-facing product URLs to align with the best practices in web application security and infrastructure. This change may require you to update your systems and applications to ensure they support the approved cipher suites to avoid disruption.
- Changes are coming to LearnUpon's learner interface, creating a revamped & unrivaled experience that will help to deliver your programs in a way that's (even more!) engaging and learner-friendly.
