New HRIS Integrations
We’re excited to introduce more new HRIS integrations—UKG Pro, ADP Workforce Now, SAP SuccessFactors, Deel, Dayforce, Gusto, Paycor, Paylocity, and Workday, now joining HiBob, Personio, and BambooHR—to streamline onboarding, development, and user management.
With these easy-to-setup integrations, you can connect in seconds and automate key tasks like user creation, data syncing, and overall user management between your HRIS and LearnUpon.
Plus, we’ve added handy updates to each and every HRIS integration. You can now choose how new users are added: make them active and send a welcome email, create them as active without an email, or set them as pending and send an invitation.
For users of Personio or BambooHR, you’ll now see clear indicators showing which learners are synced from your HRIS, making it easier to manage your connections and see the benefits in action.
New Certificate Editor
Now you can create and award certificates that align (more closely) with your brand and your needs with a new and improved certificate editor.
Choose between portrait or landscape templates, allowing you to create certificates in the orientation that best suits your style. Adjusting names, dates, and other fields is a breeze with our intuitive drag-and-drop interface, giving you complete control over the design. You can also customize fonts, colors, and text layouts to maintain a professional appearance that reflects your brand. With instant previews, you can make sure everything looks just right before finalizing and easily organize your certificates by naming them for quick access.
Enhancements
- New sorting options in your portal library: You can now sort content in your portal library (Modules, SCORMs, TinCans, Checklists, and Question Pools) by newest, oldest, or alphabetically, helping you reuse your existing content faster.
- Greater flexibility when updating TinCan files: When replacing an existing TinCan ZIP file, you now have the option to either keep learners' current progress or reset it entirely.
- New option for learner checklist self-completion: Allow learners to complete tasks at their own pace and submit checklist modules with or without instructor review, making it easier for them to track progress independently.
- Enable waitlists for Live learning sessions: Give learners the option to join a waitlist for their preferred Live learning session. When a spot opens up, they’ll be automatically enrolled, or you can manually add capacity to popular sessions or swap in learners for existing registrations.
- More control over Live learning events: Limit an event to a single course with a new setting to restrict or allow the event to be added to multiple courses, ensuring a more focused learning experience.
- Set group-specific due dates: You can now set unique due dates for specific learner groups, giving you more control over course timelines.
- New sales tax options available to configure for your storefront: New sales tax options are now available for Brazil, Israel, Italy, Mexico, and Poland, automatically applying the corresponding, compliant rate of tax.
- Reach more users with two new portal language options: With the addition of Indonesian and Vietnamese, LearnUpon now offers 25+ out-of-the-box platform languages.
- Restrict increased video playback speed: You can now require learners to view a video at a normal speed, ensuring videos are watched at their intended pace.
- Filter Manager dashboard based on login status: Managers can now filter their dashboard based on login status, ensuring they focus on the right learners. Plus, learners who have completed or passed their courses no longer appear in the "Past Due" lists, making it easier to manage active learners.
- Retrieve assignment answers via the API: Store assignment uploads internally or share them with other systems for validation with a new assignment_answer object.
- Access assignment data via Webhooks: Automate assignment review, storage, and user notifications with access to assignment answer IDs and detailed instructor feedback through the module completion webhook.
- List enrollment details by ID: You can now retrieve module data attributes by enrollment ID through the API, providing you with detailed information about each enrollment.

- Reminder: Since August 12, 2024, you’ll have seen some changes on the platform: ILT Center is now Live Learning, and Training has been renamed to Event. To support these updates, we've introduced new API endpoints and Webhooks to facilitate a seamless transition ahead of deprecating the existing methods after December 31, 2024.
